The Municipal Wellness Program supports Nova Scotia Municipalities to create healthy workplace environments and promote positive health and wellbeing for all municipal employees and elected officials. The Municipal Wellness Program offers workshops and activities, challenges, fitness membership discounts, and many other programs and resources to allow municipal employees and elected officials of Nova Scotia Municipalities to get involved in creating healthier workplace cultures.

Introducing the Mental Health Toolbox

The Mental Health Toolbox is a comprehensive website that helps you assess where you are on your mental health journey and what supports are available each step along the way.

The Municipal Wellness Program was established in 2014 and is a partnership between the Association of Municipal Administrators, NS and the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities. It is made possible through the Municipal Group Employee Benefits Program with assistance from LifeWorks, Desjardins Insurance, Medavie Blue Cross, and Hub International.
