The Municipal Wellness Program supports Nova Scotia Municipalities to create healthy workplace environments and promote positive health and wellbeing for all municipal employees and elected officials. The Municipal Wellness Program offers workshops and activities, challenges, fitness membership discounts, and many other programs and resources to allow municipal employees and elected officials of Nova Scotia Municipalities to get involved in creating healthier workplace cultures.

We are offering our always popular physical activity challenge to celebrate Wellness Thrive Month! Starting on May 2, 2022, we will be traveling virtually from Yarmouth to Sydney, Nova Scotia (680 km), and back if you need the extra challenge?. Wellness Spotlight Lunch and Learn – Free event

The Municipal Wellness Program was established in 2014 and is a partnership between the Association of Municipal Administrators, NS and the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities. It is made possible through the Municipal Group Employee Benefits Program with assistance from LifeWorks, Desjardins Insurance, Medavie Blue Cross, and Hub International.
