AMANS is committed to supporting all aspects of employee health and wellness. We listened to your feedback and have rrelauched The Working Mind (TWM) Program. This in-person and/or virtual mental health training program aims to reduce stigma, raise awareness around mental health issues and increase access to mental health supports and services.
The Working Mind (TWM)
The Working Mind is an evidence-based training program designed to promote mental health and reduce the stigma around mental illness in the workplace. It aims to promote organizational mental health, strengthen coping skills, transform how employees think and talk about mental health and illness, and create a more supportive work environment. The training offers easily applied scenario-based lessons, videos featuring people living with mental health issues, reference guides, and practical handouts. This training is structured into four interactive modules, each blending videos, case studies, and practical exercises for an engaging learning experience.
- Module 1: Mental Health and Stigma – Explore mental health concepts and the effects of stigma.
- Module 2: The Mental Health Continuum – Use a specialized tool to monitor mental health and foster open discussions.
- Module 3: Stress & Resilience – Delve into stress management and resilience-building strategies.
- Module 4: Supporting Others – Focus on strategies to have sensitive conversations about mental health and how to support the mental well-being of others.
